Surge Protector

1. Applicable    scope

The 3 series C-class surge protector (SPD) is suitable for TN-S, TN-C-S, TT, IT and  other power supply systems with AC 50/60Hz, 385V/380V and below. It can be used as an  equipotential connection at  the interface of  LPZ1, LPZ2, and LPZ3 zones. Its design basis  complies with IEC61643-1 and GB18802. 1, and the shell design is installed on a 35mm electrical guide rail. This product has a built-in failure release device. When the surge  protector  fails  due  to  over current  overheating  and  breakdown, the  failure   release  device can automatically disconnect  it from the power grid. At the same time, the visual  alarm indicator module changes from green (normal) to red (faulty), and the module can be replaced under working voltage.

3. Product application and installation location

The 3 series of  C-grade products are suitable for C-grade lightning protection and are used for equipotential connection during lightning strikes. They are installed at the junction of LPZOB area, LPZ1 area, and LPZ2 area. They are usually installed in residential distribution boxes, computer centers,  telecommunications rooms, elevator control rooms, variable frequency equipment control rooms, hospital operating rooms, monitoring rooms, and distribution boxes in places with electronic medical equipment. SPDs should be installed in residential distribution boxes for dispersed small villas.
